There’s something about a unique and stylish gi that elevates your BJJ just a little. It gives you the feeling that you’re special…you’re you. So the next time you buy a gi, go for something that will up your style a little. Check out one of these companies for a gi that really stands out.
1. Submission Fight Co
A Texas-based company that’s been around since 2010, Submission Fight Co creates stylish gis with a focus on functionality. They’ve been experimenting with materials, trying to find the most comfortable and functional materials. Take, for example, the Submission Bamboo Frenzy Gi. It’s made with a blend of cotton, polyester, and rayon (from bamboo).
One of the best things about Submission Fight Co is that they look cool. They don’t feature crazy designs or pinstripes, but they do add little touches, like the orange in their logo, that make it stand out above normal gis.
2. Inverted Gear
If you’re looking to up your style, you need something that stands out. And Inverted Gear definitely has BJJ gis that allow you to do just that. Sure, Venum makes good MMA gear. But they also make some great BJJ gear too. The Venum Challenger 2.0 BJJ Gi has been given some great reviews from both competitors and hobbyists. In addition to performing well, the gi looks good too. On some of the Venum gis, the striking Venum logo is across the back.
