The upcoming Bellator 198 card near Chicago is set to be a monster night in MMA action.
Not only will “The Last Emperor” Fedor Emelianenko return to the Bellator cage for the first time in a year against history’s most submission-savvy heavyweight in Frank Mir, but on top of that, three of the biggest names in jiu-jitsu will also be on Saturday night’s card at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL!
First, the much-anticipated MMA debut of grappling’s most polarizing star, Dillon Danis, is finally here.
Danis will make the walk to the cage for the first time ever (but not the first time he’s competed in a cage!) in his life on Saturday. Although if you listen to Dillon, this was his destiny all along.
One thing we know for sure is that Danis is a world-class grappler, having won the World Championships at brown belt and beaten some of the best competitors in our sport. And while most haven’t gotten a glimpse of his standup game, there is little doubt his team in Dublin, Ireland, won’t have him ready for all things inside that cage.
