It seems like every day, we are given examples of ordinary people using Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to defend themselves against threats to their personal safety or the safety of the people they love.
As the reporter for Fox 2 in the Bay Area points out, Ruby Ching is someone you may overlook on the street. She’s small, and at a glance one may assume that she would be an easy victim. However, what you can’t see, at least in her street clothes, is that Ruby Ching is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu purple belt who trained Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for almost 10 years.
She’s not the kind of person that anyone should be messing with, and one unlucky attacker found this out the hard way. Check out the video below!
